A modern tradition in Puerto Vallarta: Fandango
A sample of artistic quality that stands out in Puerto Vallarta is Fandango, a spectacular show that blends traditional Mexican elements with modern touches. Fandango is a staging that was born in Puerto Vallarta, and presents an interpretation of contemporary national at 12 frames ranging from pre-Hispanic myths that give raise to the tequila, to contemporary visual artists today, through the Tastoanes, mariachi and the sounds of three Mexican states: Jalisco, Nayarit and Colima.

According to Manuel Preciado Diaz, head of event, the show is a production that shows the warmth and color of contemporary Mexico. “It brings together dance, music and theater with 30 dancers and 15 musicians on stage live. The work represents the talent, tradition and culture of Mexico without losing its essence. Fandango plasma with a modern touch displays a true magic show that combines light, sound, music and colors that have the taste of our land, the stylization of the pre-Hispanic costumes and interacting with charro tricks, it is an emotion that can only be described as an experience, a journey through time which blends art, tradition and novelty in a single event. ”
